Yuvaraj Gurunathan, fondly called “Yuvi” by his family and friends Passed away on December 31st 2022

Captains/Vice-Captains/Managers/Parents,

It is with deep sadness, we inform you of the death of one of our players, Yuvaraj Gurunathan, fondly called “Yuvi” by his family and friends.

Yuvi tragically passed away due to an unforeseen medical condition in El Paso, Texas on 31st December 2022. It is shocking and devastating to lose him at such a young age of 41, he is survived by his wife and two young boys aged 12 yrs and 7 yrs.

Yuvi has been playing in DCL for these teams
Tape Ball - Swadeshi Stars, Linkwell VelociRaptors(previously VelociRaptors), Linkwell Raptors(previously Raptors)
Leather Ball - Dynamos CC(previously Raptors)

Yuvi is a very passionate and hard-working individual and is always supportive of the DCL efforts. He was also volunteering for a DYCL program for some time and we greatly miss him.
